Uneta Gay Robinson, 78, a resident of Beverly, died Sunday morning July 17, 2022 at Davis Medical Center.

She was born June 8, 1944 in High Germany, Randolph County, the daughter of the late Perry Lanham and the late Junella Scott Lanham.

On January 7, 1964, in Mill Creek, West Virginia, she married Noah Francis “Tink” Robinson, who predeceased her on July 22, 2001.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas Eugene Robinson and his wife, Nicka, and Roger Allen Robinson and his wife, Belinda.

Also survived are five brothers, Delmar Lanham and his wife, Nancy, Hertzel Lanham and his wife, Martha, Robert Lanham and his wife, Shirley Ann, Zendall Lanham and his wife, Sherry, and Kelmar Lanham and his wife, Marsha; three sisters, Kathleen Harris and her husband, Willard, Leasa Scott and her husband, Brian, and Wilda Zirkle and her husband, Delbert.

Two grandchildren, Brandon Michael Robinson, Morgantown, WV, and Kasondra Renea Robinson of Beverly, WV, also survive.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Wyoneta Bodkins and Wenda “Married” Taylor.

Uneta attended Randolph County schools and was employed as a certified nursing assistant for many years at the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center before her retirement.

She attended Elkins First Christian Church. She loved gardening, flowers, the Pittsburgh Pirates and WVU basketball, Wednesday night family dinners, and she loved her grandchildren.

Friends can call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Kent Price officiating.

Interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville, West Virginia.
