It was definitely a historic song… not just for you but for women. Of course, it’s a # 1, but also:

and the 1st Song # 1 here in the US for a Canadian artist since 2007 and for a Canadian female artist… as a Canadian… and a woman… what does this mean to you?

There have been so many women who have made their names in country music these days… do you have one that you think is the one we should keep an eye out for?
On the road with Lady A …
You were on the road with Lady A during their “What a Song Can Do” tour (with Niko Moon and Carley Pearce)… I saw one of the nights when you were all on stage singing “Shape of you” the song by Ed Sheeran… I always wonder what it looks like as a supporting artist. How much of it is actually trying to learn from the headliner… and how much is it just soaking up everything…
