Notice is hereby given that on October 31, 2022, Letters Testamentary regarding the estate of Robert Gene Griffith, who died on 08/18/2022, were issued to the undersigned by the Robertson Chancery Court in Robertson County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, whether due or not, against the estate are required to file them with the clerk of the aforementioned court no later than the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their pretensions will be forever prescribed:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor has received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before the date which is four (4) months from the date of first publication (or posting); or (B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days before the date which falls four (4) months from the date of the first
publication (or display) as described in (1)(A); or (2) Twelve (12) months from the date of death of the deceased.

It is the duty of your Grand Juries to investigate any public wrong
which they know or have reason to believe has been committed and
who is liable or indictable in this county. Anyone having
knowledge or evidence that an offense has been committed may
request to testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of
Tennessee Code Annotated 40-12-104. The foreman in this county

The Grand Jury will then meet on Wednesday, December 14, 2022
at 8:00 a.m. You may be prosecuted for perjury for any oral act or
written statement that you make under oath before the Grand Jury,
when you know the statement is false, and when the statement
touches material matter at the point in question.
The college of mayors and aldermen of the city of
Springfield will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,
November 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. for the following items:

the City of Springfield’s travel policy in
repealing Order 96-49 in its entirety and

THE CITY DOES NOT COLLECT BULK SHEETS. Please put your sheets in a bag if you
want them collected. It is a violation of a Municipal Code of the City of Springfield to release
leaves, bagged leaves, trash or any debris in a ditch, on the street or on the sidewalk.
A leaf removal truck will operate daily and remove bagged leaves as you go.

Bagged sheets should be placed at the edge of your property. Don’t blow the dead leaves

other debris mingle with the leaves.
Bagged leaves, brush, or unwanted trash are not collected from apartments, condominiums,
businesses or vacant land or property. Bagged sheets of commerce or
landscaping services or someone paid to bag the leaves must remove the bags and not
leave for the city to recover.
The Public Works Department does not provide bags of leaves to the resident.

Sanitation Notice for Thanksgiving Holiday
The town of Springfield will be closed on Thursday,
November 24, 2022 and Friday November 25, 2022 for
Thanksgiving. Residents who normally receive garbage
collection on Thursday or Friday will have their cart(s)
collected on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Carts
must be curbside by 5:30 a.m. to avoid being missed. Whether
the garbage is not taken out in time, we cannot return before your
