The University of Louisville basketball staff are likely to sign a pretty big promotion in 2023.

These applicants – who will be juniors in the next school year – were assessed by U of L staff during the month of June, and a handful of those applicants made unofficial visits to the Louisville campus.

Now U of L coaches will be able to hit the road and assess the prospects.

Louisville has offered 15 prospects in the class of ’23 – all since June 15 when U of L coach Chris Mack offered his first prospect in the class – and the Cardinals will assess a few more prospects in the class over the three live periods in July.

Three of the best targets in the Class of ’23 for the Cardinals are from Kentucky State, while another primary target is Oak Hill Academy goalie Caleb Foster.
