Richard Louis Fisher, 54, died on September 5, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born August 16, 1967 in Las Vegas, NV to Harold Fisher and Ruby Fisher. He married Rosita Johnson on December 11, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV.

Richard grew up between Parker, AZ on homestead and in Moapa, NV. He attended Moapa Valley High School and was very athletic, playing soccer and basketball. He loved music, played the guitar and often sang for those around him. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, and horseback riding. He has worked in many jobs in his life, as a security guard at Tribal Travel Plaza, a cabinet maker in St. George, UT, and a janitor.

He took over the Moapa Christian Church for Pastor Bill and Anita, and he loved being a pastor. He was able to share his singing and guitar talents and have a positive influence on those around him. He loved his family, especially being a grandfather.

Richard is survived by his wife, Rosita Fisher; her children: Richie Fisher, Nolan Fisher, Shilye Fisher, Kristina (Nicolas Jackson) Johnson, Hope (Migues Oropeza) Wah and Zavion Fisher; his niece and nephew, Aiden and Ayaina Jim; her grandchildren: Lydia Fisher and Denahi Oropeza; and a large extended family. He is predeceased by his parents and siblings.

Viewing services will be on Friday September 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moapa Christian Church at 5 Bowlin, Moapa, NV, with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. A traditional song will take place that evening at 7:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Sunrise at the Moapa Tribal Cemetery.
