Q: Who or what inspired you to play football?

A: My older sister inspired me to play football. She played at the UGA. She is about four years older than me and I admired her growing up. Like siblings, I would do whatever she did. As far back as I can remember, I play football because of her, whether it’s with her in the garden, whether she takes me to a field for fun or even participates in her training. .

Q: What is your favorite football memory growing up?
A: In 2013, I met the whole World Cup team and was able to go to the locker room and take pictures with the team. I remember being amazed watching this game, and all the players. That’s when I started to get really serious about football and wanted to be where they are, play for our nation and wear the crest.

Q: What is your greatest achievement on or off the pitch?
A: My last year of high school, I was finally able to run on the track. I won five state titles – the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay – and racked up all the points to win the tag team title as well, which was the first time. that my school’s track team won the state.

Q: Do you have any pre-game superstitions?
A: I always start by praying that everyone before the game – our team and the other team are safe, among others. Before entering the field, I have to listen to Glamorous by Fergie.

Q: What were your main factors in choosing Auburn?
A: One of my biggest factors was in the SEC. I like the competitive environment it brings. Staying in the South was also important to me. There are only good people here and good football. The most important thing was that when I got to campus I knew I would fit in here. It was like home.

Q: What’s your favorite Auburn tradition?
A: I am a big football fan and love nature so there is nothing like watching the eagle fly around the stadium. You feel so special to be a part of a school like this.

Q: What are you most excited about for the coming season?
A: Make best friends for life, have the opportunity to keep having fun playing the sport I love for a little longer, and hopefully bring home a SEC Championship.

Q: If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: It was difficult because I love crab legs, but I probably couldn’t eat them the rest of my life. I have to go with the Mellow Mushroom pizza.

Q: If you could have a super power, which one would it be and why?
A: Definitely to read people’s minds. You would know exactly which ball to play everyone, every time.

Q: What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
A: My favorite movie is either Step Brothers or Rocky IV, which are very different genres. I love comedies, but I grew up watching all of the Rocky movies with my dad and can’t help but favor them.

Q: What major do you plan to pursue and what led you to choose this subject?
A: I am pursuing a major in Communication and Journalism because I want to be a sports broadcaster. I grew up watching any football game on TV because of my dad, and my sisters and I have been playing football ever since we knew how to walk. I love sports, that’s what led me to take this major.

Q: What are your biggest goals while in Auburn?
A: My biggest goals are first to win a national championship as well as one or more SEC championships.

Q: What are you hoping to do when your playing days are over?
I really want to start a family, but my favorite activity besides playing football is fishing. Maybe I’ll take a few fishing trips to different places.
