Billy Roy Nichols

BRISTOL – Billy Roy Nichols, 76 from Bristol, WI passed away on Thursday August 19, 2021 in Froedtert South, Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born on May 5, 1945 in Pontotoc, MS, the son of the late Robert and Jennie (née Bowen) Nichols. On June 17, 1966, Billy married Carol L. Hollister at Zion Lutheran Church, Bristol, WI. Billy was known at “The Whistler”, always whistling notes with everything he did. He was a huge NASCAR fan and loved the Minnesota Vikings. Billy also loved watching his grandchildren’s football games.
He is survived by his wife Carol for over 55 years; their daughters: Brenda (James) Hutchinson and Cheryl Nichols; their two grandchildren: Noah and Lindsey Hutchinson; her siblings: Ruby (Sidney) Bonnecarrere and Morris “Red” (Delores) Nichols; his sister-in-law, Dorothy (William) Niederer; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his favorite four-legged friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
Visitations will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7931 200th Ave., Bristol, WI 53104.
