Announcing the winners of Christianity Today’s first international essay contest

In 2021, we published over 800 translations of Christianity Today articles into Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Indonesian, Korean and Russian. We are delighted that so many of our essays and stories have resonated with readers around the world. As we open 2022, we are excited to share articles originally written in Portuguese, Spanish, French and Indonesian with our English-speaking readers.

Last year we announced a competition for those who write in these languages and received over 100 submissions. These essays have been meticulously reviewed by our linguistic editorial teams and then evaluated anonymously by a team of judges. Many thanks to these judges for their time and attention. And thank you to everyone who submitted an essay to deeply engage your faith and the world.

We are now entering our third year of developing CT Global Language Ministries. If you’d like to help us grow this work, here’s where you can learn more about our translation and social media roles.

If you would like to provide us with feedback, please submit it here. Thanks for the reading!
